A new garage roof begins

The garage roof has clearly failed if you can see the split felting on the top of this picture. The guttering is also pouring water inside the garage when it rains. 

So on Sunday we had a quote for a new roof for us and our lovely next door neighbour. This morning Dave the roofer rang to say he could start today. Hoorah! 

And here he is working hard. He didn't leave until 8pm this evening and he's back on Monday.
