Raspberry canes are in!

Our gift of raspberry canes (thanks Billie) have been planted in and staked today. 

It's been an interesting process to go through as we've never grown raspberries before. Researching where to put them - apparently morning sun is better than afternoon sun. Thinking about the garden spaces and where they might be able to expand and contract as they do over the year. Digging out the trench and realising that it's full of gravel (no surprise there then!). 

Let's hope they are happy here!
