Wall rebuilding

The lower wall and the upper wall meet at the left of the second image, just under the jasmine bush. The wall then curves round the corner to join the steps, and they all need rebuilding (including the steps).

Today feels like progress has been made. The soil that is being removed will go between the upper and lower wall, which used to be grass. The spare gravel is being used to backfill the relaid wall slabs.

The new soil area between the upper and lower walls will become our herb garden, once the walls are complete.
