Butterflies, peas and sneaky bees
No Mow May is really lovely ... a cuckoo flower has appeared in the grass in a few places and whilst I was resting today a butterfly came by ... I can't tell you what it is, it was mostly white, smaller than a cabbage white but had grey markings on it. It moved too fast.
We have had an orange tipped butterfly visiting the same plants in the last few days. They are so lovely.
I've put hooks and wire along the 2 fence panels to train the sweet peas up that were planted a week ago. I've also added peas now, so they can get tangled together.
We have bees nesting in our rebuilt wall. They're very industrious and I took lots of photos in the hope of catch one but they were all too quick. Please use your imagination - a bee came out of the bottom gap!
