Caulking cracks

and gaps and all sorts of mishaps so yesterday I started by caulking the lounge and although it might not be visible on the image, it looks better already. 

There's a couple of wallpaper bits round the patio doors that need an extra bit of paste and the carpet needs covering up, then it's ready for the next step.

There's a lovely chap called Stephen coming to help with painting for part of this week. We've gone for white in every room to make it really simple and light and I'm going to be helping him.

The old carpet is being relaid this week so the room will quickly be transformed. I'm a little nervous about the carpet colour though - it's hard to photograph but it has faint pink flecks in it which might not work well with the rug we have. Let's see!
