Stepping out ...

We are at the point of making floor covering decisions for the kitchen and conservatory and the current plan is to go for the same in both rooms to link them together. 

We are going for vinyl on the basis that we have laminate flooring in the hallway (and our bedroom and bathroom) so we need something softer to absorb sound and create a little warmth underfoot.

Mum & I went out to the flooring shop yesterday and came back with 2 sample books to give us ideas. They'll be really useful with the conversation we are about to have with kitchen unit respray colours too.
