Paint paint paint

Stephen has done a great job with the painting - and yet there still seems like there so much more to do. Yesterday he put the first coat on the kitchen ceiling, walls and then tackled the porch. The kitchen looks much brighter now the ceiling is white.

Today we have to keep out of the kitchen whilst Cumbria Coatings come in to spray 'Stookey' blue on the unit front edges, pelmets, cornices and the door front to the extractor fan. 

Stephen will be tackling the rest of the paint jobs at the front of the house - which include 2nd wall coats in all rooms plus the ceiling in Pip's office, undercoating the hall/porch woodwork, then glossing all 6 door frames.

I've finally finished all the caulking and can move on to sanding frames in prep for Stephen painting.
