'Stookey' blue with a dash of sage green

Colour challenges for the kitchen respray are now sorted after an extra paint mixing session. The panel below shows the original Stiffkey ("Stookey") Blue with tests at the bottom of the panel of mixed in sage green to see what might work better. L-R they are 50:50, 72:25 and 95:5 ratios of green:blue. It was amazing how much the green dominated the blue. I've chosen the right hand colour (95:5).

It also shows how hard it is to photograph and check colours digitally - the blue below is the same blue as the panel above - my camera is struggling to get anywhere near the actual colour my eyes see when in the room. 

It's so flipping complicated - and sorted, phew.
