Adding up the little things
A few small chores make a difference.
This wooden unit was an IKEA bedside table which has been adapted by Pip. It's been turned on its side, the end panel has been moved out to create a wider storage space and a shelf has been added. There's 2 of them which will be my adaptable work space storage in the lounge.
Then I've had a play with paint to colour them both. Final decision was a mix of charcoal grey and Farrow & Ball Hague blue, with a tiny drop of duck egg blue.
We love the dark blue that's been created. I had enough spare the paint the top of the storage box too. They've all been waxed to protect the surface.
These turn on their castors to hide the files so you can only side the end panels. The tops double as side tables next to the chair and small sofa.
Looking from the porch to the hall. The wallpaper panels have been added - we love this paper.
and finally, the green frog tape has been removed from the painted glass frames. It's going to take a bit of getting used to - the green tape has been there for weeks now!
