Focal hocus pocus

The focal point in the lounge is the fireplace. It now has a lovely oak plinth, which has been waxed. The panel above the fire will be painted white on the edges and have a wallpaper on it. 

The panel will show about 60cm of the paper and the roll is 52cm wide so we'll need 2 drops. 

Here's the test - oh my, what a conversation about patterns and what's best to be in the centre! Not sure we've resolved it yet.
