Let there be light

Manny has spent 2 days cutting the hedge between us and our neighbours at the back to give us much more light. It's mostly laurel so it will no doubt grow back vigorously next year, but for now we have a much lighter garden. 

The winter sun sets behind the middle house roofline so it'll be spring before we get to see the full impact probably.

It's a bit hard to tell but this was what it looked in July. It is a significant haircut!
