Outdoor progress and plans
There's a massive amount of weeds in the growing beds and we've ignored it for far too long so today I got it cleared (mostly one armed due to a painful golfers elbow).
There was a great beetroot haul.
along with fennel, garlic, chard, kale and even one last sweetcorn!
Pip took down the gazebo as it's not needed as rain cover now. Then he got on with putting slabs down to create a path alongside the new greenhouse base.
It's temporary until we lay a full patio in this space next year, once the building work is done.
We've asked Gary, the joiner (who is also a builder) if he can quote for a deck where the greenhouse was, with a triangular-ish shed (red shading) and a covered deck (blue shading next to red). The garage extension is also shown in here, with the right hand blue area as a covered space for more shed/garage type dry storage in the area where the outdoor sink will be.
