Soon we'll be sitting out in the sun (we can dream)
After what seems like a long break for the festive season and now the storms have hopefully all passed our next garden development is starting to take shape, with the lovely joiner/builder, Gary at the helm.
The evening sun in the warmer months bathes this space between the garage and the greenhouse at the end of the day so it will be the perfect place for sitting out and relaxing in.
The deck shape leaves a triangular space between it and the greenhouse which Gary will construct a shed on, with a step onto the deck.
Once the shed is in then the greenhouse can be finally fastened down to its new concrete base. Then we can move the gardening implements, tools etc in from the current 2 sheds (at no 8 and no 6) and relevant stuff in no 6 garage in. All this will be in time for the new food growing season, hoorah.
The image album for this phase is here and will be added to as the work develops: https://photos.app.goo.gl/mzmFiPkHFQuW8okS7
Is that it?
Well, not exactly.
That project will be followed by ... Murray Room II ... building on to the side of the garage to create a work room/guest suite with an external boot room/drying area and garden sink for mucky and wet things near the gate.
I guess it's going to be messy out there for a while!
