Using on site materials

The facing stone for the patio walls is a combination of the original edging, which were broken slabs, river stones found on site during the great digout phase and pieces of slate that we and our builder have had lying around, plus bits of broken slate roof tiles from a lovely friend, Annette. 

Altogether it's starting to look fab and we are really pleased to be using very little new material for them.
